Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting
- Red candy melts
- Black candy melts
- White candy melts
- Edible candy eyes
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions:
Bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions
Let the cake cool, then crumble it into a large bowl
Add the chocolate frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined
Shape the mixture into small ladybug-shaped balls
Melt the red candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth
Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it into a cake ball
Dip the cake ball into the melted red candy, coating it completely
Allow excess to drip off
Place the coated cake pop upright on a parchment paper-lined tray
Melt the black candy melts and use a toothpick to create ladybug spots on the red candy coating
Melt the white candy melts and attach edible candy eyes to the ladybug's head
Allow the candy coating to set
Your ladybug cake pops are now ready to be enjoyed!
