Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
In a small bowl, mix the flour and baking soda
Set aside
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until creamy
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined
Stir in the semisweet chocolate chips
Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets
Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown but still soft
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely
